Summary[]
Billy stumbles across a surprising discovery about the snooker hall. Minty also learns something of his own - Lynne may not be coming back to the Square at all, news that might make Garry more depressed than he is already. Kate, meanwhile, is having second thoughts about her secret affair with Den. Alfie plans a break with Kat, leaving Maxwell to take care of Spencer and Nana. Jane makes a good impression at the café, despite her lack of cooking experience. In contrast, Dot isn't touching food. Jim isn't overly concerned, putting it down to Dot's usual hypochondria. However, she is secretly convinced that it is more serious.

Andy riles Billy and Minty. Billy is concerned when he finds out that the deeds to the snooker hall are in Andy's name and not Sam's. Minty and Billy realise the animosity they share towards Andy and that they both want to protect Sam. Den finds Kate is not so compliant now Chrissie is on the scene. Den tries to convince Kate that he's tied to Chrissie because he owes her £50,000 but has no real feeling for her. Jane opens up the café and offers a service with a smile. Jane appeals to the customers, who vote unanimously for her charm. Ian is pleased. Garry's downbeat due to Lynne's absence. Minty learns that Charlie doesn't think she'll come back. Alfie decides that he and Kat need a break. He organises time off work. |
