Summary[]

Paul's been searching for Angel but to no avail. Precious is terrified that Angel will try to kill her. Paul's decided they'll run away together. He loves her enough to risk everything. The Slaters leave for the hearing without Zoe. Kat's annoyed that she hasn't turned up. Zoe's frantic when she realises that Paul told her the wrong time to meet her family and she can't believe that she will miss the court hearing.

Garry's delighted that he's having a satellite dish erected. Dot doesn't share his enthusiasm. She's worried that it'll attract UFOs! She phones the council to complain immediately.

Peggy wonders why Phil is so chirpy. He claims it's because he's looking after Louise for the day but Peggy's not convinced. Lisa drops Louise off but secretly meets Phil a little later to spend the day together.

Ian visits a clinic to have a vasectomy. He keeps Laura in the dark, stating that he's meeting the bankruptcy trust. The doctor asks about his wife, but Ian claims to be a widower so she won't be contacted.

Lisa gives Phil a present from Louise. It's a snowdome containing a photo of the three of them at Louise's christening. Phil's touched.

Meanwhile, Dot starts a petition against the Slaters dish. She's determined to make a stand!

Paul withdraws his savings. He's decided to run away to Spain with Precious. Patrick hugs him, aware that he'll miss Paul.

In the Vic, Zoe's miserable that she wasn't there for Little Mo's hearing.

Lisa admits to Phil that she kept the present secret from Mark. Phil believes that there's more to their relationship than simply sharing time with Louise. Lisa's startled, refusing to think that way.

Generously, Patrick offers Paul some money from his savings. He wants to make a gesture to help him out. He insists that they have a drink in the Vic before leaving. Paul thinks it's a risk but Precious feels they can go.

The Slaters head to the Vic to celebrate. The judge agreed to a retrial. Zoe tries to explain why she missed the hearing but Kat won't listen. She has a go at Zoe for letting her family down.

Donna urges Lynne to treat Garry with more respect. He supported her throughout the trial. Mo thanks Donna for helping them out. Donna plans to stay at her mum's until the retrial.

Ian arrives back in the Square feeling sore after his operation. He's startled when Pat questions him about his meeting. Laura had explained that he was with the bankruptcy trust.

Sam lets slip that Mo informed a prospective resident that the B & B's infested with rats! Patrick fumes and glares over at Mo and the Slaters on the other side of the pub.

Jason pressures Lynne to reveal their relationship to Garry. He's bought air tickets and they must leave tomorrow. Lynne's hesitant.

Meanwhile, Paul explains his plans to Anthony.

Zoe's worried that Little Mo may think her absence means she doesn't care. When Kat mouths off at her, Anthony steps in protectively. He's soon backed up by his family and Precious but she's sent to wait outside. The Slaters and Truemans have a brawl. The police arrive and arrest Garry and Paul. But as Paul is being bundled into a police van, he spies Angel driving off. Precious is in the back of the car!
