Summary[]
Unable to come to terms with the loss of another baby, Sonia resolves to take drastic action. Meanwhile, Ian is left feeling humiliated by Laura and Tom.

Tom arrives amid sirens. Peggy instructs Phil to find out what Sharon is up to. Ian tells Laura he wants to expand the business. Jim tries to talk to Dot about the Christening gown. Janine has a row with her carder, Ginger. Asif later takes up the job but when threatened by Ginger dumps the cards in a puddle. Janine is furious with Asif. Sonia tells Dot she isn't pregnant, and considers deceiving Jamie. Jim ruins the Christening gown when he washes it. Dot is devastated. Sharon offers Peggy a deal - they can stay in the flat if she can continue as landlady. Ian fails to break up a fight between Martin and Ginger, so Tom steps in. Sonia tells Jamie she isn't pregnant - he is secretly relieved. Ian taunts Janine, Tom throws him out. Jim apologises to Dot. |
