Phil plays on Melanie's worries and provokes drastic decisions. Steve goes out and comes back in the early hours but doesn't tell Melanie where he has been.

Phil arrives to see Louise. Steve asks Melanie why she came back. Melanie avoids answering. She discovers that Phil is at Lisa's. Phil finds out that Lisa turned to Steve for help. He leaves vowing to sort Steve out. Phil interrogates Billy. Melanie tries to contact Steve. The phone rings - it's Phil. She's rattled. Ian arranges to return the till. He wants Laura to apologise to Melanie. Laura apologises and Melanie tells her she's decided to close the Meal Machine. Phil visits Melanie and leaves a message for Steve. Laura has something to tell Ian. Steve arrives home to find Melanie stressed and crying. She tells him all about the visits and gives him Phil's message. She wants them to leave Walford and never come back. Meanwhile, Lisa is trying to get Louise to sleep. |
