Summary[]
Sonia tells Jamie who Chloe's father is. Lisa and Melanie argue - Lisa throws wine over Melanie. Later, Phil and Melanie end up in bed together.

Phil eyes Melanie from his bedroom window contagiously as she makes her way to the Vic. Peggy's in high spirits and looking forward to having all of the Mitchell clan over for Christmas dinner plus Melanie. Phil tells Peggy that Sam won't be able to make the dinner. Lynne tells Zoe that she thinks Garry has gotten her an engagement ring. Lisa lies to Sonia that Jamie isn't around on his behalf when she comes to give him a Christmas present. Nick sees Dot wandering around the Square gardens. She tells him a woman from the hostel stole all of her money and bus pass. He encourages to go the Vic under false pretences that it's empty. She's embarrassed to be welcomed by an overcrowded pub. Nick rushes back to the shabby flat and tells Ashley they'll have to nick someone else's Christmas. Charlie invites a downbeat Billy to Number 23 for dinner, Lynne's less than pleased to find out Garry has also invited Janine and Terry! Robbie confronts Jamie and calls him a bully. At Number 25, Sonia calls herself a cab. Jamie catches up with Sonia as she's about to get in the cab and offers to take her wherever she's going himself. In the car, Sonia tells Jamie she's taking a present to Chloe. Jamie stops off at pub so they can talk. Nick and Ashley break into Number 41 and manage to sabotage the Evans' Christmas as Barry and Natalie are upstairs. Melanie tells Phil that Steve's gone. Melanie tries talking to Lisa, but she turns her down. Lisa watches bitterly as Phil's all over Melanie. Little Mo turns up unexpectedly and tells the Slaters she's left Trevor. Dot's touched to be welcomed into the flat with a full Christmas. Lynne's gutted to open her Christmas present from Garry and it's earrings that are the exact same as Janine's. The Fowlers invite the Evans' and the Cottons to Christmas dinner. Phil deletes a voicemail Steve leaves on the Vic's answering machine telling Melanie he loves her and he's sorry. Lisa finds pills in the kitchen drawer that belong to Peggy. Melanie and Lisa start arguing and get personal. Lisa throws wine over Melanie's dress and the two girls fight. Phil breaks them a part and tells Melanie to go back to his for a shower. Jamie's gobsmacked when Sonia tells him that Martin is Chloe's father. He storms out of the pub and leaves Sonia in the car park as he speeds off back to the Square. Back at Number 5, Phil comforts Melanie. He tells her that Steve has run off and doesn't care about her. He encourages her to start living dangerously like Steve. He leans in for a kiss and she doesn't pull back. They start ripping each other's clothes off. |
