Summary[]
Arthur is admitted into hospital and Kelvin celebrates his 18th birthday in riotous style to the astonishment of his parents. B Simon and Lofty are on their own in the Vic and it is empty. Den is out looking for Sharon. Simon says it is because Angie is gone that business has gone downhill. Mary is doing business as usual in the pub and Kathy frowns when she sees money changing hands. Then she eyes Mary leaving with a man called John.
On Kelvin's 18th birthday, he buys his first drink in the Queen Vic and later has a party with his friends. Rezaul turns up uninvited to keep an eye on Naima. Michelle gets annoyed at Lofty for wanting to leave early when she just wants to dance. Simon arranges for a stripper to arrive at midnight just as Tony and Hannah return from their own night out to gate-crash the party and they are shocked. Arthur goes into hospital and Pete assures Pauline that is it for the best. Pauline is relieved that things are now calm instead of unpredictable at home. Naima has a new van for business. Ali advertises for women cab drivers and Sue decides to learn to drive so that she can drive a cab. Doctor Legg asks Doctor Singh to start his locum position the following week as Doctor Legg is so overworked. Kathy is shocked to see Mary with a strange man in the Vic who gives her money. |
