|
Bianca is all set to leave for Manchester. She fails to persuade Ricky to come with her. Dan resolves to follow Bianca to Manchester. Phil can't believe his gall. Frank urges Ricky to see Bianca before it's too late. Consumed by self-doubt, Ricky can't bring himself to do so. Frank makes a drastic intervention. He tells Bianca it's her responsibility to win Ricky over. Bianca visits Ricky in the Arches. He greets her pleas and apologies with contempt. Bianca goes home one last time. Carol dismisses her with a warning that she's on her own now. However, just as Bianca leaves the house, Carol suddenly has a change of heart. She intercepts Bianca as she enters her taxi and tells her to make the most of her new life. Dan watches as Bianca says her goodbyes and leaves. Carol makes an impassioned plea to Ricky to follow after Bianca. Ricky relents. Frank drives Ricky to the station, tension mounting all the while. Bianca has an unwelcome encounter at the station with Dan. He begs her to salvage their relationship. She tells him he disgusts her. Ricky races to the station and sees Bianca board her train. He desperately follows after her. Bianca throws herself at Ricky, begging him to come with her. Ricky tells her he can forgive her - all she has to do is tell him she unconditionally loves him. Bianca hesitates before she tearfully concedes that she can't. They pull away. All Bianca can do is watch as the train pulls away and Ricky recedes into the distance. |
