Summary[]
Carol decides to tell Dan the truth, knowing that he will be enraged. Dan threatens Bianca, but Ricky has the final say.

A distraught Bianca blames herself for Carol's abortion. Pat urges her to be strong. Carol confesses her abortion to a devastated Sonia. Ricky returns Liam to Bianca. She again asks Ricky to forgive her. The doorbell interrupts her pleas. Dan stands in the doorway. Bianca warns him away but to no avail as Ricky leaves without a word. Ricky is stunned when he learns about Carol's abortion. His feelings towards Bianca harden still further. Ricky is devastated when he sees Dan leaving Phil's house. Ricky confides his feelings of betrayal in Pat. He soon wishes he hadn't after Pat lets slip she knew about the affair all along. Elsewhere, Grant secures the loan from Billy to buy the snooker club. Barry announces his engagement to Natalie to an appreciative Queen Vic. Dot makes mischief when she co-opts Jeff into helping her move her things into Pauline's. Peggy turns down an offer from a rival brewery to buy the Vic. Dan's anxiety gets the better of him. He barges into Bianca's demanding to know what Carol's done. Bianca pleads ignorance. Dan intercepts Carol. She tells him she's terminated their baby. Dan goes berserk. He confronts Bianca in the Square and accuses her of killing the baby. Dan storms into the Vic and starts downing whiskeys. Ricky tracks him down and confronts him. Another fight is narrowly averted. With the weight of the world on her shoulders, Bianca throws herself on Carol's mercy. Bianca voices her intention to stay in Walford and patch things up with Ricky. Carol's greets Bianca's pleas with contempt. She tells her that no one wants her in the Square. Bianca agrees to leave Walford. |
