Summary[]
After Ian and Mel's engagement party Carol and Ricky are in shock about Bianca and Dan. Pauline asks Dot to live with her. Sarah visits Matthew in prison and meets Hutch.

Carol lies alone as gossip spreads around the Square. Try as she might Sonia can't console her. Bianca turns events over in her mind. Pat refuses to intervene with Ricky on her behalf. Bianca decides to visit Carol. Phil can't believe his ears when Dan resolves to visit Carol and patch things up. Bianca arrives to find the locks have been changed. Sonia tells her that she's no longer a part of the family. Robbie panics when he can't get in the house. His shouting rouses Carol whose hurt is plain for all to see. Dan tries to gain entrance. Sonia screams abuse as he persists. Carol's anxiety heightens. Phil is aghast when Ricky returns to work. Bianca confronts Ricky in the Arches. Ricky greets her pleas with contempt. Afterwards he takes the first steps towards a divorce. Damien demands payment from Phil for the failed sabotage of E20. Phil refuses and warns him off causing further trouble. Grant is livid when he finds out. Feeling slighted he resolves to strike out for himself. Grant tracks down Billy. He asks him to organise a £30,000 loan to secure the snooker hall. Billy warns him against it. Carol's heart breaks when she overhears Sonia talking excitedly about the new baby. Robbie consoles Carol and offers her his unconditional support. Dan confronts Bianca in the Square. Harsh words are spoken. Carol sees the whole exchange from her bedroom window. Carol rings the abortion clinic and makes an appointment. |
