Summary[]

The reality of prison closes in on Steve. Beppe turns the tables on the Mitchells and Lisa is shocked by Lilly's gossip about Mark.

Phil and Grant are alarmed when the drugs are returned to them in an anonymous package. Grant can't contain his rage. Nina questions Grant about the police raid on E20. Nina is dismayed when Grant denies everything. Phil plots a slow, sweet revenge on Beppe.

Lilly mistakenly lets it slip to Lisa that Mark has AIDS. The atmosphere is strained between Mark and Lisa. She bites the bullet and asks him to tell her the truth. Mark explains his HIV status. Lisa listens and tells Mark she's there for him.

Carol reminisces as she helps Bianca pack for Manchester. Bianca's good humour ends on Dan's arrival. Carol's suspicions are raised. Dan pleads with Bianca to pretend all's well for Carol's sake. Bianca greets his efforts with contempt. Dan comforts Carol and assures her he's totally committed to her and the new baby. She doesn't see his look of guilt and fear.

Alone in his cell, Steve suffers a panic attack. The strain and the guilt are beginning to show. Steve is powerless to intervene as Beppe makes widespread changes to the club. Steve paces his cell like a caged animal. His anxiety is quelled when he learns that a date for the trial has been set - 4th October. Steve and Matthew pass in the corridor. Matthew shuns Steve, pausing only to twist the knife and tell Steve he's going down for a very long time. Steve's panic rises once more.
