The Mitchell and di Marco brothers mark out their territory and Phil has a plan to make the opening night of E20 one to remember.
|
Bianca reels after Carol tells her she's keeping her baby. Bianca flees when Dan enters the room. Bianca confronts Dan. He insists he didn't know Carol was pregnant when he cheated on her. Bianca continues to provoke Dan. He calls her bluff, daring her to confess to Carol. With nothing left to lose, Bianca resolves to come clean to Ricky. Grant arrives at E20 intent on mayhem. Beppe and Gianni stand their ground. A scuffle breaks out. Grant rips Tiffany's card to shreds in provocation. Beppe maintains his composure. He gets one over on Grant when he calmly admits Tiffany didn't love him. Grant swears vengeance. Phil proposes a subtler strategy to get back at the di Marcos. Steve is introduced to his new solicitor. He wastes no time in telling her about Matthew's assault on him. Steve's patience snaps when he hears of the delays in setting a court date and securing character witnesses. He threatens to hire another brief. The solicitor holds firm, reminding Steve that his defence will be in jeopardy if he refuses to co-operate. Steve acquiesces. Bianca is in turmoil when Ricky doesn't come home. Frank guiltily admits to Pat that he took Ricky to Manchester to show him the business. They didn't return together. Ricky returns to face Bianca. He silences her as she attempts to confess and tells her he wants them to make a new start in Manchester. Ricky suffocates Bianca with his dreams for their future. Her resistance crumbles as he takes her in his arms. Ricky doesn't see her look of guilt and fear. Grant takes his anger out on Frank, chiding him over the bar of the Vic. Peggy tears a strip off him for his trouble. Grant's humiliation is complete when Peggy lets Beppe put some flyers for E20 behind the bar. Phil restrains Grant as he attempts to go after Beppe. He assures him he's organised an opening night the di Marcos will never forget. |
