Summary[]

Bianca and Dan make the most of their last hours together. Natalie wants to go home. Dan leaves Bianca at the station telling her that he will not leave Carol.

Things are tense between Barry and Natalie. She rebuffs his apologies. Jack confides in Natalie that he turned down the chance to play for a London football club. She's touched when he urges her to look to the future. Barry confronts Andrea and warns her never to upset Natalie again. He withdraws his invitation to visit. Natalie is enraged when she discovers that Barry has left the house with Jack. She storms out.

Terry and Irene are surprised when the landlord delivers breakfast in bed. Irene's suspicions are aroused. Terry nervously admits that he walked the barmaid home. Irene gets her suitcase and starts to pack. Terry delivers an impassioned apology, urging Irene to give him another chance. Irene relents and they make the most of their day away from Walford.

Dan questions Bianca about Ricky. She reluctantly admits she hasn't missed him over the weekend. Bianca has an attack of conscience when Ricky calls. She crumbles when he puts Liam on the line. Bianca presses Dan, urging him to leave Walford with her. Uncomfortable, Dan warns her not to blow it. Bianca persists. Dan makes it clear he's not leaving Carol.

Muddied and dishevelled, Barry catches up with Natalie at the bus stop. She tells him to get lost. Barry refuses to accept they're over. Natalie wilts and worries that they won't stay the distance. Barry reassures her he's not going anywhere. They leave for Walford, reunited.

Bianca grows hysterical as Dan drives her back. She's stunned as he stops the car at a small railway station. Bianca reacts with fury as Dan orders her to catch the train back into London. He assures her he loves her, before driving away without a backward glance. Bianca watches him go and cries silently.
