Summary[]

Grant is shocked by Annie's admission. Lilly makes a life changing decision. Teresa pushes Matthew to breaking point.

Roy is disappointed he and Pat aren't going to counselling. Pat says why bother if they are all right in the first place. Frank catches some of the conversation as he serves their drinks. Frank shows Roy his holiday pictures and they talk about Roy's 'problem'. A heart to heart does Roy the world of good. He just wishes that he and Pat could talk more openly.

Matthew tells his mum in Leeds that everything is all right, but he doesn't look convinced himself. Teresa tells Matthew that she doesn't want to see him anymore - he's screwed up and she's had enough. Matthew says he wants to explain about Saskia and why he lied. He says that if she drops by after work he'll tell her the truth.

Annie is fussing about the opening of the health club. Grant tells her to calm down. The health club opening draws a big crowd. Dot is put out when Grant points out their non-smoking policy. Steve offers business, then suggests that Grant thinks too small. Grant bites back angrily.

Melanie tells Lisa how her date with Gianni went - she's still embarrassed. Gianni tells Melanie not to worry about her behaviour. She wants to cook him a meal as an apology but he says that she's too stuck on Ian for it to be a good idea. She denies it. Melanie tells Lisa she's blown it with Gianni. Lisa remarks that it's a lost opportunity as Gianni is 'gorgeous'. Melanie tries to get Lisa to ask him out herself but she's too shy. Gianni and Beppe decide to forget about their women problems and go out on the town.

Teresa is angry with Rosa because of the problems she's caused with Mick's night café.

Lilly tells Dot that she's going to move into sheltered accommodation for her own safety.

Matthew makes up another story about Saskia to satisfy Teresa but she doesn't buy it - his face says it all. In an emotional outburst Matthew tells Teresa the grisly truth about Saskia's end - the body, the blood, the shallow grave. Matthew cries, "it was an accident", but it's too much for Teresa who runs out of the house. Matthew is devastated.
