Summary[]
Irene wants to go to Dot's party but Terry and Sarah have other plans. Matthew decides to collect the stolen video from the police station.
Desperate for money, Gareth has taken up Lilly's offer to do jobs for her and Dot to get ready for the party. He repairs their oven and helps move furniture for them. He does a morning's work. He wants paying for his efforts. He makes a few hints that he will pay a few debts then move on, hoping for money from Dot and Lilly. They give him a bag of fruit, cake, beer and sandwiches. Gareth panics, as he knows this is all he is getting from them. Dot offers him £10. Gareth feels insulted, as he owes £1000 to 2 people, and throws the bag of goodies on the floor. Dot orders him to leave, and Gareth storms out. Later on, Mick complains about the noise during the party, as he needs his sleep. Matthew comes to report a stolen VCR to the police but sees a "Missing Persons" poster for Saskia asking if people have seen her. PC Wilson plays the tapes, almost getting to the part where Steve kills Saskia, and Matthew says the tapes are old CCTV tapes, and Steve gives them to him when they are used. PC Wilson stops the tape. Matthew then leaves the police station. Lilly goes to the shop to get some more beers and is met by Gareth. She is pleased to see him. She offers him a beer but he wants her handbag. He wrestles her for it and then throws her down before running off. Terry calls for someone to stop him but Gareth is now long gone. Terry comforts Lilly and an ambulance is called. |
