Summary[]
Peggy and Pat shop for Peggy's wedding dress. Ricky agrees to be Frank's best man. Pat warns Barry about Natalie. Alex warns Melanie about Ian. Roy goes in search of Viagra.
Martin's a wanted man. Matthew and Ian wait for him outside the Fowler's house. Matthew starts after Martin, shouting "I know it was you and I want my stuff back". Martin is rescued when Ian intervenes. Martin's relief turns to panic when Ian warns him, "I haven't finished with you yet". He forces Martin to admit he stole Phil's car radio. Ian persuades Phil not to press charges but warns Martin, "I'm on to you now. I'm going to be watching every step you take". Ricky moves into the Vic and immediately feels caught up between Frank and Peggy. Anxious to make a contribution, Ricky asks Frank if he can be best man. Frank is touched after Ricky explains, "I'd be really proud to be standing next to you after all you've been through with Peggy". Frank agrees. Frank nervously asks Roy if he'll step down. His mind elsewhere, Roy happily relinquishes his duties. Struck by Frank's optimism, Roy resolves to investigate Viagra. Jeff isn't impressed by Melanie's decision to move in with Ian. He advises her to watch out. Alex, meanwhile, suggests Ian will treat Melanie like a domestic. He touches a nerve when he asks Melanie, "has Ian told you how good you are with the children?" At Beale's Market, Melanie's anguish is manifest. Ian confronts Alex and is dumbstruck when he abruptly asks what it has to do with him. Barry continues to evade Natalie. He becomes increasingly disillusioned with the dating agency and trashes the office. Natalie enlists Huw to try and help her find Barry. Her hopes of reconciliation are dashed when Pat finds her waiting in the café. Peggy is grateful when Pat invites her out shopping. Her joy soon fades when Frank breaks the news that neither Sam nor Diane will be able to attend the wedding. Phil allays Peggy's fears when he assures her that he'll be at the wedding. Phil can't, however, vouch for Grant's presence. Roy arranges a rendezvous to collect his black market Viagra. He waits nervously in a motorway car park for his contact Lauren Jones. Lauren arrives and Roy is stunned by the speed of the transaction. She suppresses his questions and complaints by asking abruptly if he wants the tablets or not. Roy is tormented as he tries to decide. |
