Summary[]

Nina's past catches up with, whilst Peggy thinks about wedding dates. Melanie opens up to Ian and Matthew feels shaky after recent events.


Peggy suggests to Frank they marry in April but Frank is hesitant. He wants Peggy to settle her differences with Grant first. In the Vic Frank tries to placate Grant - he tells him that he belongs in the Vic as its his home. Grant counters by saying it was his home but Frank has changed that. Grant moves the last of his clothes out of the Vic, leaving Peggy distraught.

Pauline senses tension between Conor and Mary and urges him to make amends. Pauline continues to interfere, telling Mary to apologise to Conor. Mary storms out, leaving Pauline wondering what's going on.

Terry learns that Sarah was attacked in Bridge House. He tells her she won't be going back. Sarah confronts her assailant Dean Collins and warns him to stay away from Bridge House. Dean is more interested in watching Nina crossing Albert Square.

Steve turns up at Beale's Market to apologise to Melanie. She is unimpressed; when Steve takes her arm she warns "takes your hands off me". Ian intervenes and throws Steve out. To Melanie's surprise, Ian shuts up shop and listens as she pours her heart out. Pat turns up to see Melanie give Ian an affectionate kiss. Pat is stunned.

Matthew drinks himself into a frenzy in the Vic. He tells Steve, "I can't handle this. They're bound to find out; they'll find Saskia and dig her up". Steve gives Matthew a wad of bank notes and tells him to lie low for a while.

Alex tells Sarah he doesn't want her to work at Bridge House anymore. Sarah is unimpressed when he reveals Nina has offered to help out. Sarah confronts Nina. Nina tries to placate her but Sarah snaps and storms off. Nina moves to leave, but is stopped by Dean Collins. He asks what has happened to her. Nina tells him she's off the game but Dean avers - "plenty of girls try but old habits die hard". Nina flees, unaware Sarah has witnessed the whole encounter.
