Summary[]
Simon and Terry try getting into Grant to have access to seeing Courtney. Mary pressurises Ruth to tell her the truth but gets an unexpected answer.
|
Mark asks Ruth out for a birthday drink. She agrees but stands him up. The celebrations fail miserably when Mark clashes with Conor. Embarrassed, Mary exits, leaving Mark on his own. Michael resolves to tell Susan about his affair with Lisa. To his surprise, Susan feels the same way, anticipating his every word. Michael bottles telling her, vainly promising "no more fighting". Lisa, meanwhile, excitedly confides in Mark. She tells him that Michael is telling Susan about him and Lisa. Saskia continues to cause trouble. She tells Melanie that she couldn't meet her the night before because Steve came to her flat. Feigning innocence, Saskia informs Melanie that Steve was trying to get back with her. Later, Melanie tells a disbelieving Steve to stuff his "cheap smile and lousy excuses". Peggy asks Frank to be strong for her. She tells him "I don't know if I can hold it all together. Not this time". The Hills pester Peggy to persuade Grant to think again. She snaps at them as she isn't going to take sides against her son. Mary continues to push Ruth, urging her to tell Mark about the baby. Exasperated, Ruth tells her that the baby isn't his. |
