Summary[]
Friendship blossoms at Peggy and Frank's non-date dinner. Barry has a change of heart about a possible promotion after Robbie brings bad news. Roy makes a secret visit and Irene turns dictator for Terry.
Roy visits the doctor - his test results will be ready next week. The doctor suggests that Roy has counselling, Roy says he doesn't need it - he has family and good friends. Irene and Terry write a letter to Louise's solicitor together. Terry says he will post it, but he tears it up. Mr Meakin drops by the video shop again while Robbie is out. He discovers the adult videos. Barry excuses this by saying they received a wrong delivery and tells Meakin about his past management roles. Meakin gives Barry an application for the manager's job. Roy asks Frank how he could be so cheerful when he has only a few months to live. Frank confesses that he isn't really dying but he knew that Roy would not have accepted his money otherwise. Lenny and Huw tell Robbie that Barry has got to leave the squat and that Robbie must be the one to do it - Robbie does. Peggy and Frank are nervous about going out for their meal together. Everyone was treating it as though it was a 'date'. After a few misunderstandings they have a pleasant meal. Frank tells Peggy that he is going to rent Nigel's flat as a base for when he is in London. Frank gives Peggy a kiss on the cheek. |

Notes[]
- Peggy and Frank discuss their first meeting, which would reference events from Episode 657 (23 May 1991), but they recall an inaccurate timeline - they claim they met while looking for Ricky and Sam, who had eloped, but this would not occur until a month after their first scene together.
