Summary[]
The di Marco family are busy with the last-minute plans for the opening night of Guiseppe's. It proves to be a frantic day for Rosa when Gianni fuses the lights and Teresa decides there are far more interesting things to do than help her mother. Meanwhile, Ruth's plans for a romantic dinner go disastrously wrong when Mark finds Conor in his place. Dot's excitement over moving to her new flat cools when she finds an uninvited visitor.

Ricky and Bianca also visit the cemetery as it would have been the day that their daughter was born. Although they are sad, they realise they still have each other. Everyone has been talking about Polly and Tony's front page story - the battered wife who was let off despite murdering her husband. Terry is reminded by Simon of his past. Tiffany is made to think. Tony celebrates and chats up Teresa. The final preparations are made for the opening night of Guiseppe's Restaurant. During the day, the lights fused but Conor comes to the rescue. When it opens no-one arrives! Irene and Terry arrive for a free drink. No-one has heard from George - he should have turned up at the restaurant. Annie can't reach him. Nigel spends the day helping Dot with the final touches on her flat. An uninvited guest turns up - Nick. |
