Summary[]

Ian leaves for Italy where Cindy is hiding out. Joe wants to go home to Bolton. Diane leaves the Square and leaves her son behind with Ricky.


Joe pours out his troubles to Grant, who offers him the benefit of his experience with women.

Diane is forced to make a decision about her future in the Square after Thomas begs her to take him back.

Roy accepts an offer for Manor Wood while Pat thinks Barry owes her a favour.

Ian sets off on his journey of discovery, against the wishes of his mum and his election campaign advisor.
