Summary[]

The Jackson family ponder their future in the Square, and Mary begins to realise London is not all it's cracked up to be. Michael is harried by the market traders and Joe becomes increasingly frustrated.


The Jacksons decide to leave Walford. There are several sad goodbyes including Pat and Carol reminiscing about the past, Michael telling Carol he always thought she was special, Robbie leaving a message for Sarah, and Bianca says a tearful goodbye.

Joe is annoyed with Sarah about going to a fundraising meeting instead of meeting him. Mary invites him to a séance. She is upset when she sees him kissing Sarah in the Square.

Michael addresses the market traders after Mark found a rat.

Tony is annoyed with Polly for taking the credit for the Jackson's story and asks her why she dumped him.

Grant and Peggy argue over Grant's discourteous behaviour towards Terry. Terry tells Irene that Grant is jealous of his relationship with Tiffany.
