Family tensions mount in the Vic and continuing marital difficulties take their toll on Kathy. Simon and Tiffany are shocked to learn that their father's near-fatal attack has left him in need of care.
|
Tony and Polly are offered their jobs back and take them. Phil is sleeping rough and back on the bottle. Grant and Peggy demand some answers from him. Simon and Tiffany go to the hospital to visit Terry, which Grant isn't pleased about. At the hospital, the doctor informs them that one more attack on Terry could be fatal and he must stop drinking. Vanessa doesn't seem at all interested in Barry's ideas for the wedding when she dashes off before he can get a word in. Pat persuades Kathy to go and see the doctor, and later Kathy contemplates taking some pills, but Ben cries which interrupts her, and she goes to him. |

Dialogue[]
TIFFANY MITCHELL (to Phil Mitchell): When I was a kid, my dad, he was God. Today though, in the hospital, he was there and the doctor, me and Simon were all standing by discussing him like he was a baby or an animal or something. There was no respect there. I'd never want Courtney to talk about me like that. But my dad was always a drinker.
IRENE HILLS (about Joe Wicks): That boy. He's a work of art!
