Den tells Pete he thinks Pat was lying about Wicksy not being Pete's son. During a band meeting upstairs in The Vic, Harry proposes The Banned gets an additional member. Wicksy phones his old bandmate Eddie Hunter, who arrives at The Vic as Naima is telling Den her application to sell alcohol has been accepted. Wicksy reminds Eddie he left him with a lot of debt when their previous band broke up, so as a return favour he wants Eddie to join The Banned, giving Wicksy backup in future band discussions. In a long-winded tale about a holiday in Southend where Pete's grandad nearly drowned, Lou reassures Pete that Pat is lying, and that Wicksy is his son.
