Summary[]
Carol is keen to talk to Alan, but he's not sure that there's anything to talk about. Pauline is off to Jersey. Bianca's hard work pays off.

Carol goes to the café early as she wants to sort things out with Alan but he brushes it off and goes home. When Bianca comes and asks him to help rig the lighting for the fashion show, he tells her that he will not be attending the wedding. David insists that he will tell Bianca about Joe and Karen after the fashion show. Ruth tells Pauline that Mark feels like she is shutting him out in favour of Willy. She asks Pauline not to say that she said anything but Mark knows she is behind it when Pauline decides to go and talk to him before she goes away with Willy. When they leave, Mark tells Ruth that he is going to go and see Arthur's solicitor again Roy tells Barry about the visit from the inspector, he is worried that the person Barry paid to torch the car lot might confess to the police. The dress rehearsal commences and Carol is apprehensive about doing the fashion show with David as her partner. Before they go on stage, they bicker when David belittles Alan's role in bringing up Bianca. After the rehearsal, Carol tries again to talk to Alan but he leaves without letting her explain. Carol then pulls out of the fashion show and goes after him. When she gets home, he refuses to talk to her. She later finds him at the café and pleads with him to come to the wedding. Sarah pleads with Ted to let her go out but he refuses to back down. She tells him she is going upstairs to do homework but she sneaks out. She arrives at Alistair's house and meets his wife, Sue. They sit her down for a chat and they introduce her to religion. When she gets home, Ted is asleep and totally oblivious to the fact that she has been out. Before the fashion show starts, Cindy suggests to David that the fashion show is a perfect place to announce their relationship. But she changes her mind when he says he won't go into business with Ian. The residents of Albert Square arrive. Tiffany hides Robbie's waistcoat in retaliation for him spying on her while she was changing. In the café, Carol pleads with Alan to come to wedding with her but he tells her that she needs to get used to going everywhere without him. As he is about to break up with her, they are interrupted by all the residents that took part in the fashion show as they come to celebrate. Sanjay and Gita are able to pay off the loan. Bianca tells Ricky in private that she enjoy doing the fashion show so much that she wants to start her own business and wants him to come in with her. |
