Synopsis

Arthur discovers a novel fund raising idea for his Flowering Wilderness campaign, Cindy feels her world shrinking around her like cling-film but continues with her dangerous games, deciding to pay David a visit and Sanjay wonders if Gita will allow him to go to Spain with Steve. Pat and Roy make a public show of affection. Nigel struggles to cope with a sad anniversary and David hatches a plan for Bianca's 18th birthday. Grant is the life and soul of the Vic.

Carol and Alan have arranged a party, with sandwiches in the Vic for Bianca's 18th. She whinges a lot and David gives her 250 quid to arrange a party for herself. She and Tiffany are happy to go off and plan things. Carol is not happy at all.

Cindy told Pat that she thinks Ian is boring. Pat says he's reliable and men like that are worth their weight in gold. (Just like Geoff eh?) Ian gets the go-ahead to buy another chip shop. He's really excited and bores Cindy with the details. She makes herself look as beautiful as possible, (but not going to the extreme of having her roots retouched) puts some frilly underwear on to go to see David. Pat interrupts them and Cindy makes some story up. So Pat says that David can give her a lift as Pat thinks she's really going to see another bloke and David can check that she's really going where she said. In the car Cindy tells David that she wants him to leave her alone and that's what she came to tell him. David says of course she did and that's why she's all dressed up. Then they snog.

Arthur decides on a snail race for the council fund-raiser. Pauline tells him not to spend too much of their money on it.

Gita refuses to allow Sanjay to go to Spain on Steve's trip.
