Summary[]
Angie plumbs the depths of despair when Den tells her he's moving out. Wicksy's true motive for returning to the Square comes to light when he tries to con Pete into giving him a loan.
Den tells Angie and Sharon he should move out to give them space but insists he will not live with Jan. Angie does not believe him. Sharon talks to Kelvin and then Tony about relationships, wondering if any couple is ever happy. Ian and Kathy insist on Pete buying a new car and he agrees, saying he can afford a deposit. Lou tells Simon to tell Pete about his debts, so he does so. Pete offers to loan him half the money and says he will speak to Den about the rest. Simon, Ian, Lofty, Kelvin and Sharon see their advert for "Hellogram" but they give the Vic's phone number, so Den hangs up on several callers. Ethel's dog, Willy, escapes the launderette and runs away. Ethel cannot find him and cries to Angie. |
