Summary[]
As Nigel remains concerned over Grant, Sharon gets herself outside. Natalie returns to the café after a few days leave from illness.
David spots a car he likes the look of. It is £820. He needs Ricky's agreement before buying it but cannot find him anywhere, so talks to Pat about it instead. Michelle passes blame onto Geoff for getting him to record their conversation in the first place. Pat goes behind David's back and phones Ricky for his opinion on the car, but she is too late, as he buys it anyway. Ricky investigates the car and recognises it as a cut-and-shut. David is mortified when Pat informs him about it. Kathy visits Phil but leaves when Nigel shows. Grant bumps into Peggy on her way to the bus stop and is uplifted following a conversation with her. Peggy remains in the dark over Sharon. Gita is the victim of a violent racist attack. Bianca comes to her aid and takes her to her bedsit to clean her up. A revitalised Grant knows what he has to do next. Nigel misinterprets his attitude as a sign that he is planning to make amends with Sharon. Sharon visits Nigel shortly afterwards and he tells her he thinks Grant is going to make up with her. She is thrilled. Grant later returns and reveals to Nigel he has started divorce proceedings on the grounds of adultery. |
