Summary[]
Nigel is unsure how to help Grant. Peggy returns to Walford to visit Phil in hospital. Cindy goes swimming again and meets the lifeguard she fancies.

Grant is not sleeping. Nigel tries to lend a helping hand but is unsure what else he can do to help. Peggy turns up at the hospital to see Phil. He is relieved to see her. Unaware of what has been going on, Peggy seeks answers to why Phil is in hospital. He claims he fell into the inspection pit. Sharon blames Michelle for everything that has happened but quickly regrets her words. Michelle hugs her. Ian encourages Cindy to go for a swim. Debbie and Nigel visit Phil in hospital. Peggy arrives on the Square to see Kathy. Matt catches Cindy as she leaves the pool. He is happy to see her and hopes they can go for a coffee next time. Peggy looks for Grant but cannot find him, so has a drink in the Vic. She asks Michelle for the latest gossip but is spared the information regarding her sons and Sharon. Grant sits in the Square gardens and stares at the Vic. Sharon peeps at him uncomfortably from the window upstairs. Cindy is in a good mood after her swim. Sanjay is disappointed to see election posters vandalised. Grant returns to Nigel and Debbie's to cry. Nigel returns from the hospital and listens to Grant reminisce about a time he hurt Phil as a kid. He finds out Peggy is back but cannot face her. Kathy sits by Phil's bedside but cannot let go of what has happened. She finally confronts him over it and makes it clear they may not have a future together. |
