Summary[]
Pat wants Ricky home, so David agrees to try and win him back round. Arthur reads that a date has been announced in the Walford Gazette for a local by-election and considers going for councillor. Ian starts interviewing for staff at the chip shop.
Nigel checks in on Grant the next morning. Pauline covers Kathy at the café so that she can visit Phil. Ian's first interviewee fails to impress him, while the second one tries to force ideas on him. Alan becomes suspicious over Robbie so follows him to the Arches, where Wellard is. Robbie begs Alan not to take Wellard away as he has been beaten by his owner. Alan is angry and waits outside the betting shop to talk to Mr Hammond. David tries sweet talking Ricky but gets nowhere. Kathy is happy to see Phil again. Sharon sneaks out the Vic whilst Michelle is working to go and see Phil. Tension rises between Geoff and Michelle when Geoff sympathises with Grant. Sharon is informed by one of the nurses that Phil is having a brain scan. Alan gets his hands on Mr Hammond and threatens RSPCA action against him. Sanjay complains to Arthur about how the current candidates for the council are claiming the housing policy is racist. Cindy finds someone suitable for the job at the chip shop and offers them their salary at their current place of work plus 10%. Robbie takes Wellard home. Carol lets him keep him. Phil returns from his scan. Sharon tries talking to him but he wants nothing to do with her. Kathy bumps into Sharon on her way out and blames her for everything. |
