Summary[]
An upset Grant storms into the Vic, exposing Sharon's affair with Phil. As Phil tries to explain himself to Grant, Michelle tries to comfort a mortified Sharon.
|
Grant repeatedly listens to Sharon describe her lust for Phil on the tape. He cries, heads into the Vic and puts the tape on in place of the music. A stunned silence falls through the room as the party guests hear everything. Grant walks out as Kathy slaps Sharon for her deceit. Michelle depopulates the Vic, leaving only her, Kathy, Phil and Sharon inside. Nigel goes searching for Grant. Kathy loses her temper with Michelle. Pauline worries about Michelle and insists Arthur heads to the Vic to protect her, just in case Grant returns. Kathy walks out, unable to comprehend the events. She cries alone in the café. Nigel is unable to find Grant so returns to the Vic with Debbie. They, along with Arthur, tidy up the bar as Michelle takes Sharon upstairs to calm her down. Phil gets a lead on Grant's whereabouts from Natalie and investigates. He hears the smashing of glass coming from Turpin Way and finds the windscreen of his Jag has been smashed. As he heads inside the Arches, the door closes behind him. It is Grant. Tears stream down his face. He confronts Phil over Sharon. Phil encourages Grant to hit him to get the worst of their clash out the way. Grant throws Phil around. Debbie worries for the brothers and suggests that Nigel checks the Arches for them. Nigel arrives and finds Grant sitting on the edge of the inspection pit. At the bottom of it, Phil lies in a pool of blood. |
