Summary[]

The day of Kathy and Phil's engagement party arrives. Pat has enough of David and Ricky's constant moaning. Meanwhile, Ricky leaves Number 41 and moves in with Bianca.

Barry the DJ sets up in the Vic as Grant gets the barrel store ready for the event.

Kathy and Phil are excited for the evening.

Arthur, Nellie and Pauline arrive at the party early to bag themselves a table.

Geoff and Michelle show up at the same time as Pat. Geoff offers to buy her a drink but she turns it down.

Bianca is certain Ricky is the one for her and gets soppy over him with Natalie.

One of the beers comes out of the tap cloudy, so Grant calls Dave from The Three Feathers pub to ask if he can barrow a barrel to get it replaced for the party guests.

Ricky meets Bianca and plans to move into her bedsit. They head to 41 Albert Square and move his things out.

Grant innocently picks Michelle and Sharon's cassette tape to listen to in the car on the way to Dave's pub. He hears Sharon talking kindly about him.

A conga line forms at the Vic as the party guests enjoy themselves.

Grant collects the beer from Dave and heads back. He puts Michelle and Sharon's tape back on.

Ricky informs Pat that he has moved out. She is taken aback by his revelation.

Steve gets the cake for Kathy and Phil to cut in front of the party guests.

Grant pulls up outside the Vic just as the cassette tape exposes Michelle and Sharon's conversation about her sleeping with Phil!

Dialogue[]

GRANT MITCHELL (about Kathy and Phil): Look good together, don't they? I'd never have thought it though, those two.

SHARON MITCHELL: Why not?

GRANT MITCHELL: Well, I just didn't think Kathy was his type.

SHARON MITCHELL: Oh, and er, what is his type then?

GRANT MITCHELL: Dunno, I just didn't think it was Kathy. I know one thing though, you are definitely my type.
