Della and Binnie are hungover after a successful gay night at the Vic. Natalie gossips about what she heard. Carol meets David at Deals on Wheels and insists that he does not tell Bianca anything if she starts asking questions about her father.

Pat walks in on Ricky and Bianca kissing in the café. She decides to inform Carol of her daughter's secret, and she is furious with Bianca and demands she no longer sees Ricky, leaving Alan unable to understand why Carol is so against their relationship.

Geoff catches Pat deep in thought and offers to listen to her troubles.

Della starts to worry as she thinks residents know about her sexuality. Binnie starts to tire of her girlfriend's behaviour. Della confronts Natalie over her gossiping and publicly declares she is "as straight as they come", leaving Binnie mortified by her lie.

Geoff manages to cheer Pat up.

Bianca phones Ricky from the phone box on Turpin Way. He tells her that he loves her.

Binnie decides she wants to move out as she cannot cope with Della's behaviour. Della takes action to prove how much she loves Binnie, by dragging her into the market and kissing her, leaving Natalie disgusted.
