Summary[]
Den closes the bar early after Jan appears with the news that her dad died. As soon as Angie realises who the new arrival is she shoots upstairs and sits in the darkened kitchen. With all the tension at the pub, Simon goes home with Lofty to spend the night while John Fisher sleeps on the sofa upstairs at the pub.
Den clears everyone from the Vic, while Angie disappears upstairs. Den and Jan talk - she reveals her father died and he says he wishes he had not got someone else pregnant. Angie assures Sharon that she and Den will not split up. Angie later meets Jan and tells her she has caused a lot of problems and that she knows she will continue to see Den, but she would not be able to handle it if she were to replace Angie in the Vic. Angie says she does not hate Jan, just the situation. Jan cries, regretting that she came to the Vic. Michelle cries when she hears that Jan has arrived, but Pauline tells her to go to bed. Ali agrees to try for a baby with Sue. Simon tells Lofty he left home because of debts and Lofty realises that Michelle will struggle as a single mother. |
