Arthur, Pauline, and Nellie hear the smashing of glass from Number 45. Gita phones the police. A policeman checks in on her and, the next morning, sends a sergeant over to discuss the event. Sanjay is infuriated and wishes he had been there for her. He tries getting her to move in with him but she is adamant she will not. David and Ricky head to the car auction, leaving Alan in charge of the business. Sanjay falls out with Mark when Mark recounts his engagement with racists in his teenage years. Ricky meets Jim Harvey, a friend and car supplier of Frank's, at the car auction. He tells Ricky he can supply his business with cars. Nellie no longer wants Arthur and Pauline to take her to the steakhouse. Cindy learns of Gita's ordeal and heads over to see her, but she does not answer the door. Nadia turns up at the Arches with a proposition for Phil - she will divorce him on the grounds of adultery if he gives her money so that she can move to Germany. Ricky returns from the car auction and discusses racism in society with Arthur and Mark. Sanjay is stood behind the trio and hears everything. He walks off, angry, upset and convinced the residents see him differently. |
