Gita takes Steven to nursery for Cindy, while Ian suggests to Cindy that they go out for a meal in the evening and get a babysitter, rejecting Gita's offer of taking the children off their hands. David agrees to give Alan £25 a day, and Alan is thankful. Cindy receives a phone call from the nursery, informing her that a tearful Steven is the only child to have not been collected from nursery. Gita returns with him a while later, insisting her van broke down. Ian is furious with Gita and confronts her in the café. Sanjay defends her, resulting in a brawl. Phil decides he has to end things with Kathy and so heads to her brother's house and asks her to meet him at a pub. She does, but his idea of a break-up does not go to plan as they get talking and reminisce. Cindy opts to sleep in a different room to Ian, leaving him unsettled. Phil comes to the conclusion that he cannot lose Kathy and will do whatever it takes to be with her, so asks her to marry him. |
