Summary[]
The twins manage to keep Ian and Cindy up most of the night. She dislikes his unwillingness to help her out with them. Ricky and David wake the neighbours up early as they work on the exterior of Deals on Wheels. Racists continue to make Gita's life hell.

David takes an interest in Carol upon learning she won at the bingo. Bianca sees Ricky in a new light. Gita checks in on Cindy and the pair vent about their problems. Pauline continues to let Carol's win at bingo get to her. Nigel does not know what to do with his stolen belongings, so turns to Grant for advice. Alan pays Nellie back the pension money he owes her. David meets Carol in The Vic and tries to get her to put money into his business, guaranteeing he will quadruple it in six months. She turns his offer down. Debbie asks around for a new television, so Carol gives her an old portable one. It breaks after being set up. David asks Phil if he can borrow a Jaguar for press photos when the business opens. Sanjay learns of Gita's ordeal from Cindy and wants to support her. Carol and Alan buy Blossom and the kids gifts. They hope that this is the start of a change of fortune for them. |
