Eileen Harrington (née Byrne) is the daughter of Lance Byrne and Agnes Byrne, sister of Roisin Kelly and mother of Kieran Harrington. She made her appearance in the spin-off Kat & Alfie: Redwater. She was portrayed by Angeline Ball.
Backstory[]
Eileen left Redwater, and moved to the United States with her young son. She feels a bit like an outsider, having left years ago and She had to fend for herself. Eileen left Redwater because of her grief after she lost a child to drowning, and because for independence from her a very strong mother and sister. Roisín is resentful of Eileen because Eileen left the farm and Roisín never had the opportunity to do so herself.
