Dr Natasha Black made her first appearance on 10 July 2015. She is portrayed by Rachel Bavidge.
Storylines
Natasha is covering for Dr Howard due to him having the flu. She is first seen when Stacey Branning went to see he because she had concerns about not feeling herself and maybe the tablets are not working against the bipolar. Natasha confirms with Stacey her drugs are Lithium and Carbamazepine. Stacey tells the Doctor that yesterday she did a pregnancy test and it was positive but she is taking the pill, so she can't be pregnant.
The doctor informs Stacey that Carbamazepine can render the pill infective. The Doctor informs that a pregnancy test is very actuate. The Doctor suggest that Stacey has a blood test to check her Lithium levels, book an appointment with the midwife and organise the follow appointment with Dr Howard.
In September 2015 Lee Carter visits Natasha as his dad Mick made him an appointment. Both Lee and Mick go together. Natasha comes to the conclusion after speaking to Lee that he had depression and prescribes him tablets, she also recommends counseling.
In February 2016 Abi Branning and Ben Mitchell later visit her for their first antenatal checkup, but when Ben asks if they can find out when the baby is due and Dr Black asks Abi when her last period was, Abi says she does not feel well, so Dr Black asks Ben to get some water. Abi tells Dr Black she does not want Ben there, so when he returns, Dr Black asks him to leave. Abi then admits she is not pregnant and Dr Black encourages her to tell Ben the truth
In May 2016 Sonia Jackson and Tina Carter visit her because Sonia had found a lumped on her breast. Natasha exams Sonia but cannot be sure if the lump is anything to worry about she refers her to a specialist.
In September 2016 Denise Fox visits her as she believes she is pregnant and Natasha confirms she is 18-19 weeks pregnant. Denise then realise that Kush Kazemi is not the father and Phil Mitchell is.
In March 2017 Dr Black tells Ian Beale that he is likely to get type two diabetes, if he does not change his diet.
