Dr. Laghari made his only appearance on 25 February 2020. He is portrayed by Ezra Faroque Khan.
Storylines[]
Dr Laghari is a doctor that tests Ben Mitchell's hearing after the Smith-Holland boat accident, were he fell overboard. He tell Lola Pearce and Jay Brown that he cannot hear much and needs an operation to fix this but Ben become angry as they are talking about him and he can't hear, he then storms out.
He later tells Ben he needs a Cochlear Implant but it the operation comes with risks and that the waiting time is four weeks. Dr Laghari then suggests a British Sign Language course for Ben and Callum. Ben then overhears Dr Laghari arguing with Frankie Lewis.
On the day of Ben's operation, Dr Laghari cancels it after discovering that Ben has a high temperature and is not well enough for surgery, leaving Ben frustrated. Having had the operation, Ben attends an appointment with Dr Laghari to test his cochlear implant, which is successful.
