Delanie Forbes is an English actress who portrayed Cassie Carpenter in EastEnders from November 1985 to December 1986.
Delanie was born in May 1976, at Sidcup in Kent. She wanted to be an actress from the moment that her elder brother, Gary, enrolled at a London stage school although her professional career began when she appeared on the cover of a video cassette at the ripe old age of 1 and a half! Two years later she made her TV debut in a play for the BBC.
When she didn't appear in EastEnders, Delanie attended a school in Mottingham, south-east London and she was also a part-time pupil at the Sylvia Young Theatre School where she polished up her acting and dancing skills.
After leaving EastEnders in 1986, Delanie went on to appear in other TV dramas such as The Bill and Love Is Not Enough, before temporarily giving up acting. However, she has recently come back in the spotlight by doing various podcasts interviews and being an active user on Instagram.
