Charlie Paul Suff (born 1996 in Worthing, West Sussex) is an English actor who has portrayed Johnny Carter in EastEnders since February 2024, becoming the third actor to play Johnny following his arrival in 2013.
The first was Sam Strike, from December 2013 to December 2014, before Strike left the show that year. The second was Ted Reilly, when the character was reintroduced in April 2016 and continued in the role until January 2018, when it was announced he had chosen to depart from the show in December 2017. He tweeted: "It was a really tough decision to leave, but at this stage in my career it's very important to keep being challenged & experience new things!"
In December 2023, it was announced that the Johnny would be returning to EastEnders in 2024 with Suff cast in the role.
Suff has also starred in Grantchester, Grace, and Never Has A Man.
