Charles Andrew "Charlie" Mitchell was the son of Val and Stevie Mitchell, brother of Billy Mitchell. He was the half-brother of Teddy Mitchell and the father of Jamie Mitchell. He appeared in flashbacks on 5 September 2022, portrayed by Charlie Heptinstall.

Charlie Mitchell was born in 1956 to Stevie Mitchell and Val Mitchell. His brother, Billy Mitchell was born in 1959.
He marries Lynne and then has a son Jamie, who was born in November 1982. Lynne dies in 1986 when Jamie is four years old and Charlie raises Jamie alone. When Charlie dies of a heart attack in 1998, Billy became the guardian of Jamie.
