Charlene Emma "Charlie" Brooks (born 3rd May 1981 in Ware, Hertfordshire) is an English actress who portrayed Janine Carter in EastEnders periodically between June 1999 and December 2022.
Brooks has also appeared in The Demon Headmaster, The Bill, Jonathan Creek, London's Burning, Casualty, Heartbeat, Robin Hood, The Dumping Ground and Moving On. She has also appeared on several reality television shows, winning the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special in 2011 and the twelfth series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2012. In 2025, Brooks is set to appear as contestant on the seventeenth series of Dancing on Ice.
