Storylines[]
Bev is a customer of Bridge Street Café who is an old friend of Kathy Beale's. Kathy tells her son Ian that Bev, who lives in Walford Towers, has had a compulsory purchase order placed on her flat the previous summer and are taking over this month for an overground rail development. Kathy says she had lived there for over thirty years. The railway didn’t go ahead, so it is unknown if Bev was evicted.
