Ashley is the husband of Dan and adoptive father of Daisy. He made his first appearance on the 5 February 2018 and last on 1 November 2019. He was portrayed by Ashley Cook.
Storylines[]
Ashley and Dan are the potential adoptive parents of Daisy. They have already had Daisy stay with them for a night when they have dinner with Daisy's foster parents, Arshad and Mariam Ahmed. Ashley admits to Arshad that Daisy would not settle during her stay with them, but Arshad reminds him of Daisy's past, as she finds it difficult to trust adults. Mariam decides to contact social services. Dan and Ashley visit the Ahmeds again with social worker Viktoria. Ashley says he is worried that because he works from home and Dan works in the City, he will be the one to look after Daisy when she is unwell or school is closed and he may end up resenting Dan. Dan says he has always wanted to start a family and promises to take time off work to help. Ashley says he wants to go ahead with the adoption and Viktoria says they can proceed. Dan and Ashley later collect Daisy from Arshad and Mariam. He later reappears which Daisy when Iqra and Habiba Ahmed arrange for kids looked after by Arshad and Mariam to come back and see them off as they are leaving for Pakistan.
