Anthony Heathcote made his first appearance on 1 November 2010 and last on 7 January 2015. He was portrayed by Jack Pierce.
Storylines[]
On 1 November 2010, Heathcote attends when Stacey Branning realises her daughter Lily is missing. Heathcote appears again on Christmas Day 2010 when Stacey is accused of stabbing Janine Malloy, but Stacey flees before she can be arrested. On 29 June 2012, now a Sergeant, he questions Lola Pearce about an allegation of vandalism and charges her the following week. On 17 August 2012, Heathcote is the custody sergeant at Walford police station and charges Ben Mitchell with the murder of Heather Trott. On 9 October 2012, he attends Derek Branning's house, as his daughter Alice has been mugged. In January 2015, now a Detective Sergeant, Heathcote searches Dot Branning's house, looking for her son Nick who has faked his own death. He questions Dot, her grandson Charlie and Charlie's mother Yvonne and reveals that Nick is wanted for armed robbery. Dot, Charlie and Yvonne deny seeing Nick and Heathcote leaves after giving Charlie his card.
