Storylines[]
Anne and Lilian are two prostitutes on the streets of King's Cross who get angry when Mandy Salter starts "clipping" (a form of prostitution in which the woman does not have sex with the man after paying). They warn Mandy off but she tells him that they don't own the streets and that she can do what she wants, then Lilian slaps her and Mandy runs off. Mandy informs ex-prostitute Pat Butcher about what had happened, and Pat tells her never to go back as there is a chance of being arrested by the police. That night, Mandy returns to the same street in King's Cross to find that Anne and Lilian are still there. Mandy clips yet another man, and they beat Mandy up and the fight ends when they are all arrested. They all spend the night in a cell. Mandy returns home the day after and lies to her boyfriend Aidan Brosnan about the mark on her face from the beating, stating that she fell over. However, Pat informs Aidan of what really happened, causing Mandy and Aidan to fall out. Mandy later promises never to do it again.
