Storylines
Andy was a local male nurse. Despite his caring occupation, Andy could be hot headed and unlikeable away from his job. He could be stubborn. Den Watts nicknamed him "Florence" after Florence Nightingale. In 1985, baby Hassan Osman was unresponsive in his cot and Andy was summoned but baby Hassan was pronounced dead. Andy later got jealous of Debbie's friendship with Roy Quick, the local policeman.
In August 1986, Andy and Debbie had a huge row and she told him to drop dead. Sadly, Andy did just that when he died while trying to save a child from being run over. Debbie regretted her last words to Andy.
