Summary[]
Ian's supportive family comes to his aid. Pete considers an offer from Phil. Michelle prepares to confront Stuart Kendle. Jules arranges a special dinner and mystery guest, who turns out to be next door neighbour Dot, who has brought a special homemade trifle with rum.
Ian takes Cindy's hand - he cannot remember what happened. Jules annoys Clyde with his late night book writing session. Jules' voice recorder's batteries run out so Jules goes to take some from the radio downstairs, but ends up causing the radio to blare out music. Etta is unimpressed. Sam leaves notes for Ricky to find outside the Arches. Grant and Phil get hold of some fake driving licences. Dot complains about her noisy neighbours to Arthur as Jules stands behind her. He invites her to dinner at their house. Cindy tells Ian that they argued and he drove off and crashed his van. Mo decides she is going to go and visit her brother, Sidney. Ricky is perplexed by what she says. Michelle takes it upon herself to confront Stuart over his illegitimate actions. Sharon is offended when Carol tells her that her family are going away for a while, so she won't see her again for some time. Carol hands Sharon a family heirloom to remember her by. Michelle prepares to confront Stuart when he offers her a promotion. Grant and Phil try to entice Pete into taking a driving licence. Dot goes to dinner at the Taverniers'. Michelle tells Stuart she has evidence which suggests he gave permission for the market to be redeveloped in exchange for a sum of money. Stuart denies any knowledge. Michelle hands in her resignation, staying loyal to her family and to the Square. Cindy worries people will blame her and Simon for Ian's crash, but tells Simon she will not let it stand in the way of them being together. |
