A horrified Sharon watches the tape of Chrissie confessing. Meanwhile, Jake and Chrissie attempt to make their escape. Grant and Phil post Billy at Ian's house to prevent him doing a deal with Chrissie for the Vic, but he manages to get out to the café, meet her, and buy the Vic for a reduced price. Dennis, Grant and Phil turn up soon afterwards but they're too late - the deal has been done. They are lost as to where she is, but Billy overhears Patrick saying he has seen Chrissie, and that she's heading to the airport. At the airport, a nervous Chrissie looks around her whilst Jake goes to exchange money, and comes face-to-face with Sharon, who slaps her, before Chrissie is arrested by DI Riddick. As she's taken away, it's clear that Chrissie is actually relieved that it's all over. |
